Credit intermediary in Portugal

The Bank of Portugal is the supervisory authority for our activity. Below you will find our registration details, authorised services, partner institutions, and regulatory disclosures.

Bank of Portugal registration

CPCDS Consumer Solutions — Unipessoal, Lda is a tied credit intermediary registered with the Bank of Portugal under no. 0006380. You can verify this registration on the Bank of Portugal credit intermediaries portal.

Professional liability insurance

Mortgage credit: policy no. 2524519 — Hiscox, S.A. Branch in Portugal, valid from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

Services we are authorised to provide

  1. Presenting or proposing credit agreements to consumers.
  2. Providing consumer assistance by carrying out preparatory acts or other pre-contractual management work relating to credit agreements that we have not presented or proposed ourselves.
  3. Entering into credit agreements with consumers on behalf of lending institutions.
  4. Providing advisory services by issuing personalised recommendations on credit agreements.
  5. Advisory services on credit agreements consist of issuing recommendations addressed specifically to a consumer concerning one or more transactions relating to credit agreements.

Complaints

Complaints concerning CPCDS CONSUMER SOLUTIONS — UNIPESSOAL, LDA may be submitted by email or through the online Complaints Book (livroreclamacoes.pt). Complaints may also be lodged directly with the supervisory authority (Bank of Portugal).

Alternative dispute resolution

CPCDS CONSUMER SOLUTIONS — UNIPESSOAL, LDA has agreements with two alternative dispute resolution arbitration centres:

  • Lisbon Conflict Arbitration Centre — membership no. 34883 — centroarbitragemlisboa.pt
  • National Centre for Consumer Arbitration Information — membership no. 4262 — cniacc.pt

Under Article 46 of Decree-Law No. 81-C/2017 of 7 July (Legal Regime of Credit Intermediaries), CPCDS CONSUMER SOLUTIONS — UNIPESSOAL, LDA may not receive or hand over any sums related to the formation, performance or early discharge of credit agreements.
